Media studies, fandom studies; popular culture, television and film adaptations of literature; gender and sexuality studies, queer theory; folklore and mythology; genre studies, Gothic literature and drama; intersection of law and culture; nineteenth century British literature, particularly Austen, Byron and the Shelleys; performance theory; new media and the digital humanities; composition, rhetoric and creative writing.
